Life, at times, can be quite unpredictable. But who could have thought it would be to this extent? It's unlikely that any sane person would imagine that in a single day, fate would grant them the chance to witness the end of one world and the opportunity to save another. But is that what our main character truly wants? That is an entirely different question...

    It's a tale of my attempts to go off the rails of canon and write something distinctly different from it, though I only managed to diverge more or less by the 21st chapter. Some arcs will be reworked, some will remain unchanged, and some will be completely rewritten or cut out. However, the overall plot is unlikely to change. In places, I will alter things for my own convenience. Also, the world's “system” will be severely trimmed down, as I'm not a fan of systems and all those numbers. Something like that.
