"Jackie, what are you talking about?" he asked, exasperated. "I only delayed answering for a moment and you are already shouting at me. Do you have any grievances against me that I am not aware of?"
He wasn’t a fool. He could sense that Jackie was attacking him for no reason. Even if he didn’t answer directly. It wasn’t like it was the first time that he was like that. So why act harshly like that now?
Jackie sneered upon hearing that. She rolled her eyes without care as she answered mockingly, "Yes. I have a belly full of grievances. Waylon, you are my boyfriend for crying out loud, but how many times did we meet in the past year?"
"Ah! What are you talking about? Weren’t you busy preparing for graduation and then this year, you were searching for work? After finding it weren’t you busy with work? What did I do wrong?"
