"I hope that everyone is getting along well or will do so in the future. This may be our first day at work, but we have a lot of work to do. I will brief you in detail about what we will be doing from today going onwards, and I hope that all of you will keep your mind on the game."
"I can't be considered a very rich person, so I hope that none of you will think of doing anything unnecessary. If I ever catch you embezzling funds, harassing clients, or abusing your authority, I will deal with you severely. Do you understand me?"
Diamond wasn't one to joke about this matter. Her life depended on this foundation so much, and she wasn't going to allow anyone to cause trouble for her.
"Yes, we do!" they all said, agreeing to her words.
"Good then. So, the main purpose of starting this foundation was to help those who are impoverished and those who really need help. There are a lot of well-known foundations out there and charitable people who are already doing this work, but it doesn't matter. To me, as long as one person is helped sincerely, then I am good."
"So, your job is to find needy people, kids who can't afford to pay their tuition fees, sick people who can't afford treatment, ...... or those that need emotional help. We shouldn't just concentrate on monetary needs, but consider other needs as well."
"However, we all know that the foundation is an N.G.O and it will be difficult to acquire funds, so for now we will be using the funds that I already transferred to the foundation's account. In the meantime, we will find ways to receive donations, but this can only be done when the website is up and running. I hope that everyone will think of ways of how to achieve this and let the news spread."
The meeting went on for hours and everyone forgo their breakfast worries, as work was more important than food at the moment.
They all discussed several issues, and they all noted down the notes seriously, and around one in the afternoon, the meeting ended. And everyone went for a break.
