The Return of the Cannon Fodder Trillion Heiress

Chapter 557 When Two Businesswomen Talks

"I’ll tutor you for free. No, I’ll even pay you to learn!" Liz said through gritted teeth, clearly frustrated that Hera was willing to let this opportunity slip away. "How does that sound?"

Hera chuckled at Liz’s offer.

She might be the only person ever willing to pay someone to teach them—it should be the other way around!

But Liz was so fired up that she didn’t even realize how ridiculous her proposal sounded.

"Liz, look, I do want to learn more, but..." Hera sighed. "I’m really busy. I just finished my classes, I had an audition earlier, and one of these days, I have another race to participate in. So, how am I supposed to find time to learn jewelry design from you when you’re busy too?" She explained helplessly.

"Don’t you have your own company? How can you possibly be so idle?"

"What are you talking about? If you have time, I’ll come to you myself and clear my schedule to teach you. I’ll bend over backward if I have to!" Liz’s reaction was extreme, and Hera had already noticed it. With a deep sigh, she decided to ask directly.

"And why would you even do that? Unless you have a proposal in mind that benefits you, why would you go this far?" Hera didn’t hold back in asking.

After all, they were both businesswomen. Even though Hera hadn’t yet taken charge of the Avery Consortium, she was still a business and finance major student, and she knew there was no such thing as a free lunch.

The more someone gives, the more they expect in return.

Aside from the selfless love of a parent or genuine affection, there was no such thing as giving without expecting something back.
