The Return of the Cannon Fodder Trillion Heiress

Chapter 359 How It Feels Like To Be Fucking Rich! 2

On the coffee table lay a selection of Forbes magazines alongside a fragrance stick reminiscent of one she had seen in Rafael’s office. However, instead of the sandalwood scent, this stick emitted a delicate jasmine fragrance that was both mild and refreshing. This added a touch of sophistication to the already beautiful room. The serene atmosphere made Hera feel as if she could easily spend hours in this calming space, perhaps reading a book and savoring the tranquility.

Bry, his father, and Gael sat silently on the leather sofa, their eyes scanning the room with a mix of awe and curiosity. While Gael had visited the racecourse before, this was his first time experiencing this exclusive private lounge. Although he had seen the luxurious amenities of other lounges reserved for different membership tiers, this particular room stood out with its exceptional opulence.

This lounge was on an entirely different scale that Gael could barely fathom. The sight of multi-million-dollar vases displayed like mere decor on the shelves was overwhelming. If the value of everything in the room were combined, it would amount to billions, and just contemplating that figure was intimidating. Fearing the possibility of accidentally damaging something he couldn’t afford to replace, Gael remained still, wary of moving around and potentially causing any mishaps.

Everything felt so surreal that Gael didn’t realize he was gaping around the room with his mouth agape and drool escaping. Bry and his father were handling it better; while they admired the room, their lack of knowledge about the significance of each decor allowed them to appreciate it without the added pressure. As the saying goes, ignorance is bliss.

After a while, the manager arrived, pushing a cart laden with an array of desserts and freshly brewed Black Ivory coffee. As he opened the door, the rich aroma of the coffee quickly overwhelmed the subtle jasmine scent in the room. Even though Hera wasn’t particularly fond of coffee, she couldn’t help but appreciate its enticing fragrance.

As if anticipating her thoughts, the manager urged Hera to take a seat so he could serve everyone a cup of coffee. Noticing that Bry was still young and unsure of his preference, he also brought out an assortment of flavored sodas and juice from the ice box beneath the cart.

He then arranged the desserts on a tiered stand, featuring an assortment of macarons, cupcakes, slices of carrot cake, red velvet cake, and more. Not knowing their specific preferences, he had prepared a variety of treats from the pantry. Fortunately, the spread helped everyone relax a bit and gave him a chance to mingle with the Young Miss and her guests, easing some of his stress.

"Please, try these desserts and coffee. I’m confident you’ll enjoy our patissier’s creations and the Black Ivory coffee. If you prefer, we also have Misha Coffee and other exclusive beans that can only be found in select places around the world. In fact, this racecourse has become a hub for coffee enthusiasts," the manager said with a chuckle, fondly recalling how it all began.

"Uncle, this is a racecourse—people come here to ride horses, so how did it become a coffee hub?" Bry asked innocently, taking a bite of a cupcake he had never seen before. As the soft cream and moist cake melted in his mouth, his eyes fluttered in delight, and he seemed to forget his question, entirely focused on savoring his dessert.
