Chapter 150 - Infected wound
The zombie roared, its grotesque face contorted with rage as it swung its long arms wildly at the shelves. The force of its attack made the entire structure creak and shudder, metal groaning under the strain.
Muchen had had enough.
His blood was boiling, his chest heaving with each breath. His hands trembled—not with fear, but with pure, unfiltered rage.
Before anyone could react, he snatched the gun from Jai’s grip.
"Hey—!" Jai barely had time to protest before—
BANG!
The shot rang out like thunder in the warehouse.
The bullet slammed into the zombie’s grotesque face, shattering its skull in an explosion of rotting flesh and dark, coagulated blood.
The monstrous thing let out a guttural, choking noise before it toppled, its massive body collapsing like a felled tree. The impact sent a violent tremor through the ground, crushing a handful of smaller zombies beneath its weight. Limbs twitched, grotesque and broken.
But Muchen wasn’t done.
His entire body shook with fury as he lifted the gun again.
