Yunfeng panted, his body trembling as he tried to haul himself up the shelf. His fingers dug into the cold metal, but his strength was failing. Blood dripped from his wounded shoulder, staining his sleeve.

Above him, Muchen’s hands reached down. "Come on," he said, his voice tense, his own body barely steady from exhaustion.
Yunfeng gritted his teeth and grasped his hands. With one strong pull, Muchen hauled him up, their bodies nearly colliding as Yunfeng collapsed onto the shelf, panting heavily.
He sucked in a sharp breath and turned his head, eyes catching sight of his shoulder.
His world stopped. everything was a buzz.
The wound was deep—black veins had already started spreading from the scratch.
"Fuck..." His breath hitched. "I got scratched."
A loud, sharp gasp came from across the warehouse.
"HE GOT SCRATCHED!"
Hana’s scream cut through the air like a knife. Her hands flew to her mouth, her body shaking as she struggled to climb off the shelf. "Yunfeng! Yunfeng!!"
