Chapter 39: His Dissatisfaction Slowly Decrease
"Mom, Grandfather’s back?" Lin Xiao Feng turned to his mother as An Nuan excused herself and headed to the bathroom.
Song Luan heaved a sigh. "I did not expect that he would return this early as well. It seemed that his meeting ended early." She patted her son’s hand a few times. "Don’t worry about him. Your grandfather won’t do or say anything to An Nuan that would make her feel wrong. He’s upstairs in his study. I don’t think he will meet An Nuan. Anyway, I’m still here if anything happens.."
Lin Xiao Feng nodded. For now, he believed that his grandfather would not stumble into An Nuan.
An Nuan was not the granddaughter-in-law that his grandfather had envisioned. Although his grandfather had accepted his marriage to An Nuan now, Lin Xiao Feng was still worried that his grandfather would do and say something inappropriate.
Lin Xiao Feng stayed in the kitchen to speak with his mother privately.
Their conversation stopped as the mother and son heard the grandfather’s voice coming from the living room.

He exchanged a look with his mother before rushing out.
His brow furrowed when he saw his grandfather and wife in the living room. Judging from the situation, it seemed that An Nuan was waiting for him in the living room after she came out of the bathroom. Unexpectedly, she met with his grandfather.
Instinctively, Lin Xiao Feng picked up his pace and walked over to An Nuan. He blocked her from his grandfather’s line of gaze before greeting the older man. "Grandfather."
Lin Chuan narrowed his eyes as he saw his grandson. A chuckle escaped his lips as he noticed that his grandson was blocking the woman behind him.
