Chapter 38: What Auntie?
Lin Xiao Feng and An Nuan left the restaurant after having their meal and a long talk.
It was Lin Xiao Feng who sat behind the wheels on their way back.
An Nuan took the chance to stare out the window while thinking about her long discussion with Lin Xiao Feng during their meal earlier. They had both decided to stay in this marriage for a different reason and agreed to help each other when needed.
Lin Xiao Feng only needed someone to be his wife so that his elders would stop nagging him about it.
With his qualifications, Lin Xiao Feng could choose just anyone. An Nuan felt that there would be a lot of women who were willing to marry him. However, Lin Xiao Feng chose her instead.
He told her that it would be easier as they both were familiar with each other.
As for An Nuan... her reason was not that different from Lin Xiao Feng.
After her breakup, she no longer has the heart to be in a relationship. She planned to stay with Lin Xiao Feng so that her elders would stop worrying. If Lin Xiao Feng found a woman that he fancied in the future, she would be willing to let him go.
An Nuan felt that this arrangement was quite good for both of them.
It was just that... they would have to learn to get along with each other.
They were friends. Putting on an act once in a while in front of their family members should not be that difficult, right?
