Chapter 20: A Good Friend
Both Lin Xiao Feng and An Nuan left the hall early. The guests did not say that much, knowing the situation was complicated. In the end, the guest left with their stomach full and something to gossip on.
"An Nuan." Lin Xiao Feng called as he walked An Nuan to the elevator. He waited for An Nuan to turn around to look at him. "You should stay at the hotel today. Don't go back to your place if you don't want to run into that person."
An Nuan naturally understood that Lin Jun Xuan was talking about Pei Zhi Yi.
"I have talked to Yu Han," Lin Xiao Feng continued. "He will ensure that you will be safe as long as you stay here. Tomorrow, Zhang Yu Han will send someone to escort you to the airport. But of course, if you want to meet that person, no one will stop you."
An Nuan lowered her gaze. "I am not going to see him."
The look on Lin Xiao Feng's eyes turned gentler as he heard An Nuan's words. He could not deny that he was feeling nervous about An Nuan meeting Pei Zhi Yi again.
From what he knew, An Nuan and Pei Zhi Yi had been together for several years. Her feelings towards him should be rooted down.
An Nuan might be his wife. However, if An Nuan said that she wanted to end her cooperation with him and get back to Pei Zhi Yi, Lin Xiao Feng might agree to her request.
In the end, he just wanted to see An Nuan happy.
He could not force An Nuan to like him. Lin Xiao Feng knew that he would have to work hard as long as An Nuan had no plan to get together with Pei Zhi Yi.
"Have you booked your flight for tomorrow?" Lin Xiao Feng asked.
