Chapter 19: Meet the Guests
The newlywed couple walked out into the hall to meet the guests.
As there was a big change in the wedding, a lot of activities during this wedding were canceled.
An Nuan took Lin Xiao Feng around the hall and introduced him to her family and friends. As they walked around, she noticed many looked at her with pity.
Everyone knew that the original groom had escaped and An Nuan chose to marry someone else.
Most of them did not know Lin Xiao Feng. They thought he was a man An Nuan had found among her friends.
An Nuan had to pretend as if she did not see the look in their eyes and greeted everyone with a smile.
"I'm sorry," An Nuan spoke to Lin Xiao Feng after they had greeted another of her relatives. "The guests were all my family and friends. Lin Xiao Feng, it's your wedding day but the only people around are your parents and a few of your brothers."
"It's alright. It did not matter to me.." Lin Xiao Feng lowered his gaze and smiled.
In the future, when he manages to win An Nuan's heart, he will convince An Nuan to hold another wedding ceremony with him. That day, he could invite his family and friends.
"Nuan Nuan."
The voice made both An Nuan and Lin Xiao Feng turn around.
