Chapter 5: Why Do You Want to Marry Me?
"You..." An Jian was the first to break the silence. He raised his hand and pointed a finger at Lin Xiao Feng. "What nonsense are you talking about? Lin Xiao Feng, I asked you to convince my younger sister that her idea was foolish. Why are you giving her ideas instead?"
Lin Xiao Feng ignored An Jian in front of him. His attention was solely on An Nuan. He was still waiting for her answer.
From the look of it, An Nuan was so shocked by his suggestion that she was unable to react.
He could understand what An Nuan was feeling.
Lin Xiao Feng had to admit that his request was too sudden.
"An Nuan," Lin Xiao Feng called when he saw that An Nuan had been silent for a long time. "Do you still want to go through with your plan?"
The question snapped An Nuan out of her trance. She thought about how Pei Zhi Yi had left her on their wedding day.
The urge to grab just anyone and marry that person intensified.
However, An Nuan could not imagine marrying Lin Xiao Feng.
"Lin Xiao Feng," An Nuan spoke after a while. "Why do you want to marry me?"
The two of them had known each other for a while. An Nuan was sure that Lin Xiao Feng should have someone that he liked.
