I Was Transmigrated As An Extraordinary Extra

Chapter 189

As I freed the remaining beasts, the chaos of the night enveloped the estate. The roars and howls of the creatures echoed in the distance, as they run for their freedom. Yet, even amid the turmoil, I couldn’t shake the growing power emanating from Kairos’s dagger. It felt like a heartbeat—warm, pulsing, and guiding me toward something important.

The path to the main auction house was unnaturally quiet. The guards I had grown accustomed to seeing were absent, leaving the halls eerily still. It granted me the freedom to tread lightly towards my destination.

As I approached the room Zander had described, the dagger Kairos had given me began to hum softly at my side, a warmth radiating from it that was almost comforting yet unsettling at the same time. I paused, glancing down at the blade, which shimmered faintly in the dim light. What could it mean?

The door was slightly ajar, allowing me to peek inside.

I saw Kairos calmly sitting on a chair, his gaze was fixed on Jaxon, who was bloodied and restrained beneath Thorne’s grip. There’s another person who’s with them and it was Kyler, who was sprawled on the ground, lifeless.

I had inadvertently completed a part of their mission by killing the two and incapacitating the other one but now I needed to focus on my own priorities. I glanced one last time over my shoulder, the urge to say goodbye to Kairos. In the end, I turned my back so I won’t interrupt them.

As I made my way back through the dimly lit hallways, I couldn’t help but feel the dagger’s warmth gradually dissipating, its glow fading.

Reaching the main entrance, I pulled open the heavy door and stepped outside into the cool night air. The moon hung high, as it glowed over the landscape. I glanced at my watch—3 A.M. Today was already Monday and I need to be at the academy just in time for my first class.

As soon as I opened the door, I slumped down due to exhaustion. The weight of the night’s events settled heavily on my shoulders, dragging me down.
