His gaze locked onto me, a twisted curiosity shining in his red eyes. "I’m impressed by your ability, so let’s make a deal: give me the mirror shards, and I’ll let you live."
I scoffed, shaking my head defiantly. "Fair enough... But how about my friends?"
"They’re weak... unlike you. So they’ll die," Levi stated, his tone matter-of-fact, as if dismissing a non-issue.
"I’ll accept your deal in one condition," I said with a smirk, my resolve hardening.
"Name it," Levi replied, curiosity piqued but suspicion lingering in his gaze.
"Let me kill you first," My smirk transformed into a glare, a promise of my intent.
Levi shook his head, disappointment evident in his eyes. "With that kind of ability... You’re such a waste."
He raised a hand, commanding the monsters. "Kill her."
The snarling creatures lunged at me, claws bared, but before they could reach me fully, I shouted, "It’s time to wake up and help!"
For a fleeting moment, the surroundings fell still.
Levi watched, his expression shifting from confidence to confusion. "What is she up to this time?" His question hung in the air, tinged with unease.
