“Found it!” The kneeling Cao Yang suddenly announced. His voice wasn’t loud, but he sounded excited. Jiang Cheng hurried over with Yu Yu behind him. The flashlight shone about. Yu Yu was worried that something was hiding in the dark.
Every morgue cabinet was tagged with a number. They had a stainless steel handle. They looked like giant drawers. Jiang Cheng saw the tag with the name Zhang Zhaowei. It was written with a black pen. The penmanship was sharp and severe.
Cao Yang was careful. He didn’t open the drawer rashly. The three examined the surroundings.
They didn’t find anything. Jiang Cheng took a deep breath and slowly pulled on the handle. The stainless steel was abnormally cold. Cao Yang and Yu Yu stared at the cabinet. The drawer gradually pulled out. The cold air seeped in, lowering the temperature.
A corpse underneath a white cape appeared before them. The cape featured a human silhouette. Jiang Cheng didn’t hesitate and pulled off the cloth. The next second, what they saw shocked them. In her panic, Yu Yu’s hand shivered, and she almost dropped her phone.
