Heaven's Descent. A disaster that had struck the borders of the southern and central continental region. It brought about millions of death to the warring factions, the League of Humanity and the United World Government. What became of that borderland was petrifying.

As if thousands of years had passed in mere moments, the decayed and withered fauna made a resurgence, transforming the chaotic battlefront cloaked with blood and death into a peaceful and tranquil plain.

Atop an evergreen hill, a middle-aged man stood amongst the swaying grass. He gazed upon the battered strategic ships and the surrounding craters that had been taken over by nature.

Thousands of personnel belonging to the United Navy had fallen in the battlefield. Most of them became missing, not a body was left behind. The mere thought alone made most distraught.

Even the imperial army wasn't granted mercy by their ruler, everything within the borderlands was flattened to the ground as nature ravenously consumed on the bloodied corpses of comrades and adversaries alike.

"I didn't expect a Sovereign to make a move this early..." Abraham muttered under his breath and inhaled the gentle scent of the dancing breeze. "The Monarch of the Albion Empire, not sparing even his own people."

"Is this a statement from them? The deployment of such an individual could only result in the annihilation of both sides. An impartial destruction that avoids favoring either factions..."

"What a troublesome bunch." Abraham smirked and watched the distant horizon where the Albion Empire lay. He could feel the presence beyond the blurred lines, observing his every move.

"I apologize, my loyal warriors..." His smile faded, replaced by an emotionless expression. A dark light glinted from his cold gaze as he clenched his fist and pondered about what should be done. Was a total war between the strongest of this world inevitable?

"I should have brought Laplace along," A self-depreciating smile etched themselves onto his face before pointing towards the heavens. In an instant, a golden sun materialized into existence. Its heat radiated onto the skies and the earth, burning and melting everything beneath it.

"This land shall not heal and forget what had occurred upon its soil. A warning to those that dare to test my patience. Beneath me shall know no night." Abraham declared, his voice reverberating throughout the central and southern continental region.

The beautiful evergreen scenery was burned asunder as magma erupted from the ground. The earth cracked from the heat, water evaporating into nothingness. Not even clouds were left alone by the blazing sun.

Abraham turned his gaze away and sighed to himself. "Forgive me for desecrating your graves..." Without any hesitation or delay, he disappeared from the hilltop.

What he had done wasn't without reason. The Sovereigns were testing his limits, whether or not he would truly act once one of them made a move. He couldn't feign weakness, otherwise those bastards would do all kind of tricks.

After all, they wouldn't even care sacrificing their people to be able to annihilate the United World Government.

The creation of the eternal sun domain hadn't gone unnoticed. From now on, the southern and central continental region would be forever divided by a vast and endless desert that burned alongside magma and heat.

One move alone changed the climate and geography of the region, like gods that have descended upon the world. It wasn't without a reason why humans such as the Sovereigns were revered by the League of Humanity.

If Abraham was capable of altering the map at a moment's notice, who knows what the strongest Magi of mankind was capable of. The thought alone was exhilarating and damning.

For the moment all sides unleashes their strongest, that would bring about the end of the primordial world. None sapient creatures wanted the ground they stand upon to disintegrate out of nowhere.

Unfortunately, everyone and everything was in the mercy of those that stood at the top.

In the southernmost port city of the southern continental region, news about the eternal sun domain spread like wildfire. A limitless barrier of heat separated the southern continental region from the mainland.

It had become a continent on its own, under the complete control of the United World Government. Even if the United Military withdrew from the war, whether or not the League of Humanity could retake the south would remain in question.

"I thought you would have gone to the capital and blasted where the Albion Emperor are to bits." Lounging on a wooden bench was Laplace, who was licking her ice cream and staring at her husband.

The moment she heard of her husband visiting the battlefield, she thought that the situation would escalate and was prepared to defend the Citadel. It seems that he was much calmer than she had imagined.

"I would have loved to do so, but the consequences would be terrible. At the very least, I have already made my statement. I hope they wouldn't test my patience and enact such strategies again." A weary sigh left Abraham's lips.

"If I was alone, I wouldn't have cared and fought the Sovereigns without hesitation." Laplace muttered under her breath before glancing at the people around her. "But we have a nation to protect. Our actions cannot bring forth its utter collapse."

"While we are capable of destroying the countries belonging to the League of Humanity, we also faced the same problems ourselves. The Sovereigns could crush the United World Government if they wanted to." She licked her ice cream and continued.

"So, when will we make it not a problem?"

Maintaining the current world order wasn't an advantage for the United World Government. The faster the war between the World Government and the League of Humanity concluded, the better it would be for the future generations.

"It shouldn't be long for the United World Government to be capable of concealing itself." Abraham smiled at her words, while she raised her eyebrow. "Hide? I thought you wanted them to be capable of defending against a Sovereign."

"It isn't impossible, but it would take a long time." Abraham shook his head and murmured. "We don't have the time to wait. Concealment is better than not having anything at all."
