Seeing her leave because of me broke me. Seeing her walk away with the desperation to run after her being pungent but not able to destroyed me even more.
It doesn’t make any sense. Just this morning and a few days ago, we made love. We were happy then all of a sudden she drops this on me. Certainly it can’t be before I forgot to inform her about Kate.
I’ll terminate the contract binding me to Kate if I have to to make Hazel be mine completely, no matter the cost or effect it’ll have on me. Hazel is worth more.
I let out a sigh, turning my head away from her direction. Could it be Asami again?
No, I told her to stay away!
But it could be, I know how dumb Asami could be, I contemplate in my head. I wish Hazel would just tell me. I honestly wish she wasn’t being so secretive about it. Another exhale leaves my mouth. My mind drifts back to earlier today when she spat those words at me.
Being mean does not suit her. It should be blasphemous. My eyes drop to the ground. It’ll be hard to forget what she said though, even though I know she probably didn’t mean it. Hazel told me to hang on to her no matter what. I don’t know what she’s got up her sleeve but this is the time for me to be supportive, even though it rejects me.
Whatever it is, I honestly hope she’ll achieve it. My men are keeping an eye on her. I’ll have them report her daily routine to me today just so I understand more into what’s going on. Right now, I just have to wait.
