First, I used my private account to send a message to my public account, reprimanding it for sexually harassing the female boss. Then I used my public account to apologize to the private one. I sent a screenshot of the chat to Melody, claiming that I had successfully made William apologize to her.
Melody was overjoyed when she saw the chat screenshot. She couldn’t believe that I had actually persuaded William to apologize to her. Her gratitude was immense, and she held me in high regard.
In this manner, with the mediation of my private account, Melody and I reconciled. Melody even mentioned that she would recommend me for a transfer back to the marketing department in a few days.
I knew that Melody was just trying to save face. Without me, her work would be challenging. She needed me, so she wanted to transfer me back to the marketing department.
To express her gratitude to low-key guy, or rather, me, Melody even offered to treat me to a meal. I casually replied:

I declined because I didn’t want to meet Melody in person. If I did, she would discover that low-key guy was actually me! If my identity were exposed, I would be in deep trouble. So, for now, I had no intention of meeting Melody or Jessica offline unless I could find a way to protect my identity.
After wrapping up my chat with Melody, Jessica sent me a message.

I sent her a flirting message in return.
