Both cars headed toward People Hospital, where Sophia Lawson had originally planned to go for a private hospital check-up, but Henry Ruiz thought that People Hospital was just fine.
After all, the father and daughter had both worked there, and they didn’t need VIP access to use the special passage.
The check-up for Carolline Ruiz went very smoothly. Henry Ruiz put on a white coat, and Carolline was able to proceed smoothly with her blood test and Ultrasound.
The blood test was to check the various indicators for pregnant women, especially whether the Progesterone levels were up to standard. The Ultrasound was for examining whether the embryo was inside the uterus.
Everything was normal, and Henry Ruiz went to get two bottles of folic acid for Carolline and told her to start taking them now.
Once they confirmed it was an intrauterine pregnancy, Bryan Hawkins, the second fool, immediately asked the doctor, "Doctor, can you tell if it’s a boy or a girl?"
All the elders along with Carolline and the doctor who sat there looked at Bryan Hawkins as if he were a strange creature. "Mr. Hawkins, you’re not a first-time father, are you? If you want to find out the gender, you have to wait until four months later. Carolline has just gotten pregnant. The child is still just a cluster of cells; it hasn’t even taken human shape yet. Don’t be too anxious."
