Just after she put on her slippers and stood up, in that instant, she felt dizzy and almost stumbled.
"Where are you going?" Bryan Hawkins was extremely anxious, quickly reaching out to steady her.
"Am I sick?" Carolline Ruiz was surprised, wondering why she felt light-headed and why Bryan Hawkins was so nervous.
"Yes, the doctor said you have a bit of a fever," Bryan Hawkins nodded. Seeing the doubtful look on Carolline Ruiz’s face, he explained more clearly, "He said it’s due to the pregnancy, just drink more water, and you’ll be fine."
"?" So, she was pregnant. That’s why she had been feeling so tired these past two days, it was all because of this.
Carolline Ruiz didn’t wait to feel happy; she first went to the restroom to relieve herself, then quickly washed up. When she came out, Bryan Hawkins had already had breakfast sent to the room.
"Wife, have some breakfast first, no matter what, don’t starve yourself." Bryan Hawkins called for a lavish breakfast, with everything available, so Carolline Ruiz could pick anything she liked, worried that she might be picky with food.
Carolline Ruiz came over, having just found out she was pregnant, she shouldn’t have morning sickness just yet. She ate quite a lot, tasting everything, and she would eat more of the things she hadn’t tried before.
