Thinking this way, Marcus Parker let go of his concerns.
Jordy Wade turned his head back and just looked at Ellie Wilton. On her face, he could see the worry and care she had for him, and he could tell.
"Let’s do this, I want to take a paternity test with you. With your social status, it shouldn’t be difficult to arrange at this hospital, and I need it to be expedited." He had no memory now, and couldn’t remember his own social status or connections. So, he was asking them to step in.
"...Paternity test? With us?" Ellie Wilton and Marcus Parker spoke in unison again, both somewhat in disbelief, not understanding why Jordy Wade would make such a request.
They both thought the request was utterly bizarre.
Ellie Wilton had always believed that her son was dead, while Marcus Parker only knew that their child had been aborted while still in Ellie Wilton’s womb.
He had been troubled by this for a long time but eventually forgave her. After all, as the mother, she must have felt even greater sorrow from making such a choice, especially since he understood that in a way, she did it for him.
So, why would Jordy Wade suddenly ask for a paternity test with them?
It had to be either Ellie Wilton or him, Marcus Parker. Surely, it couldn’t involve both of them.
