Chapter 425: Daisy Willow’s Rise (2)
"Thank you, young lady." Katie was very grateful, as she never received such treatment in front of the mistress of the villa.
Daisy Willow smiled, poured the mixed flour into the baking tray, and placed it in the oven. Elena was still asleep, so Daisy went over and ate the breakfast Katie bought with her.
There wasn’t much food in the fridge either; she had forgotten to buy something at the supermarket downstairs last night.
"Katie, I didn’t go back last night. Did anything happen in the villa?" Daisy Willow didn’t want to pry, but to know what happened so she could organize her thoughts before seeing Cole Duncan.
Katie was the servant Cole Duncan hired for her, so the two of them got along well.
"The young master didn’t want us to serve him, so the mistress argued with him in their room, furious. Young lady, I think the young master doesn’t like Miss Wu. The one he likes is still you." These words couldn’t be said in the villa, but here, nothing could not be said since Daisy Willow wouldn’t scold her.
"Sometimes, liking or not liking someone is not just about appearances. Even if they like each other, if they’re not suited to be together, they shouldn’t be." Daisy Willow sighed, recalling when she married Cole Duncan, her parents were against it. But she was young and willing to pay any price for love, even breaking ties with her parents as she was determined to marry Cole.
