"Thank you, Mom." Carolline replied.
After the wedding date was set, the atmosphere in the house became more relaxed and pleasant. Although the conversation still revolved mostly around the two children, they also talked about other things.
Axel had gotten used to his biological clock, so around 9:30 pm, he started to doze off. Seeing their precious Axel so tired, everyone hurriedly decided it was time to leave.
In the end, Axel was taken back to the Hawkins Family residence because they couldn’t resist Grandma Hawkins’ persistence.
The parents on both sides felt bad for Bryan and Carolline, as they still had to work the next day. So, they arranged drivers for Henry Ruiz and Emily Hill, while Bryan drove his beloved wife back to their home.
Axel had become the sweet bun everyone in the Hawkins and Ruiz families wanted to snatch up. Naturally, it was Grandpa Ruiz and Grandma Hawkins who had the fiercest competition; neither of them wanted to give in.
Anyway, Axel would go to the Morgan Mansion every Saturday to practice calligraphy with Grandpa Ruiz. This was something Axel’s grandfather, Austin Hawkins, wholeheartedly approved of since he knew about Grandpa Ruiz’s reputation in calligraphy. His father had admired him very much at the time.
Since Austin Hawkins didn’t oppose it, Grandma Hawkins naturally couldn’t resist. So, during Axel’s summer vacation, he spent most of his time at the Hawkins family home, except for Saturdays.
Henry Ruiz and Emily Hill didn’t argue anymore. However, Grandpa Ruiz would still call them frequently to chastise them. They felt the affection Grandpa Ruiz had for Axel, so they didn’t say much.
