"You took my keys and deliberately didn’t tell me. Isn’t that despicable?" Avery Graham pulled her hand from his grip, this man was becoming more and more shameless, "Give me my keys back. I don’t want to talk to you."
Avery now fully believed that her keys were in his hands.
"I can give them back to you. I found the keys; I didn’t take them. Will you believe that?" Bernard Taylor raised his eyebrows.
"..." Avery frowned, she wouldn’t believe him, but she wasn’t a fool. She knew that Bernard asked her this because there was only one answer. If she gave a different answer, she might not expect to get the keys back. They had dealt with each other for two years, and sometimes Bernard could be very unreasonable. "Fine, I believe you."
"Hmm, they’re in the car, get in and take them." Bernard smiled satisfied, ignoring her attitude.
Avery looked inside the car and saw the keys next to the steering wheel. She originally wanted to reach in and grab them from the driving cabin, but the door wouldn’t open. She had to go around to the passenger side to get them. She bowed down and couldn’t reach them, so she had to sit down. At that moment, Bernard closed the car door and quickly locked it.
Then, with lightning speed, he opened the door to the driving cabin and sat down.
Avery was dumbfounded. When she came to her senses and realized that she had been ’kidnapped’ by Bernard, she couldn’t help but scream, "Bernard, you bastard, what are you thinking?"
