Carolline Ruiz could not understand the mindset of young people nowadays when she saw the news that day. She never expected that after Bryan Hawkins had given her the divorce certificate, he would actually announce his intention not to marry.
On this day, Carolline didn’t know if it was the news that stimulated her or something else, but soon after reading the news, Carolline went into labor.
Emily Hill and the others were not by her side, so she called 911 first. After the call, she opened the door and lay down on the sofa to wait, then called Emily Hill.
The ambulance and Emily Hill and the others arrived at the same time, and a large group of people headed to the hospital together.
After nearly ten hours of labor, Carolline finally gave birth to a baby boy. Carolline hadn’t checked the gender of the baby before, so Emily Hill prepared things for both a boy and a girl. Now that a boy was born, there would be no use for the girl’s belongings.
Back in the ward, Carolline looked at the wrinkled little one and sighed for a moment, wondering how a baby could be born so ugly, with no hint of inheriting his father’s handsome charm. Still, Carolline couldn’t take her eyes off her child.
"Have you thought of a name for the baby?" Mrs. Aguirre held the little treasure, unwilling to let go.
"His nickname will be Axel, and his full name is Axel Hawkins," Carolline said directly. She had thought of this name long ago: if it was a boy, he would be called this, and if it was a girl, her nickname would be Avery, and her full name would be Oscar Hawkins.
