But they didn’t seem to look like students in their attire. What were they going to do?
William Griffith decided on a whim, and suddenly, he dragged her towards the mall.
About half an hour later, they emerged, but they had exchanged their suits and dresses for new clothes.
William Griffith was dressed in a dark blue British-style school uniform. That shade of blue was as deep as ink, which coupled with his handsome face, gave him a unique prince-of-school appeal. He even changed out of his leather shoes, into lace-up sneakers. On the other hand, Cherish Turner had pulled her long hair back into a ponytail with a cute strawberry hair adornment. She was similarly dressed in a British-style pleated skirt uniform, and together, they looked like a matching couple.
Cherish looked at herself and then at him.
Oh my God! Were they really going out dressed like this?
William Griffith held her hand, looking for the student couples’ motel. The motel wasn’t far, just across three streets, tucked away in an alley. When they finally found the motel, Cherish couldn’t bring herself to enter it. Pretending to be a university student and renting a room at a student motel was probably the most outrageous thing she’s ever done in her life!
William Griffith didn’t care, he simply put his arm around her and went in.
The owner of the motel looked at them, asked them to register with their IDs. She looked at their identification and proceeded to book the room without any further inquiries. Cherish felt quite alienated and kept her head down. She followed him silently up to their room, only looking up when he opened the door with the room card.
