Cherish asked softly, "Chief Editor Sally, is Mr. Chip only inviting our bank?"
"How could that be possible? Of course he invited Griffith as well. That’s it, don’t rush off after work; absence wouldn’t be good." Chief Editor Sally hung up the phone abruptly, not giving her time to speak.
Cherish placed the receiver back on the phone, her fingers hesitating before letting go.
