Chapter 1994: One Kid for Ten Bones (Part 1)
As their faces turned rosy with excitement, a surprised voice suddenly came from the doorway: "Sister."
Jiaojiao lifted her head and looked towards the door, seeing a boy at the entrance whose red lips and white teeth made him look like a little prince right out of an anime.
"Xiaojiu!" Jiaojiao exclaimed in surprise, immediately scrambling off the bed and looking at the boy at the door.
"Call me brother!" The boy muttered discontentedly upon hearing her, but even so, the smile in his eyes was undeniable, filled with indulgence as he looked at Jiaojiao.
Although he was only a year older than Jiaojiao, for Ruan Qun, being called brother was always a matter of determination. Yet, Jiaojiao had never been fond of calling him brother from childhood to adulthood, mostly referring to him as Xiaojiu instead.
"Xiaojiu, Xiaojiu." Jiaojiao insisted on calling him Xiaojiu, smiling as she hugged his arm.
What else could Ruan Qun do but helplessly ruffle her little head, "You..."
After the two siblings exchanged a few more words, Jiaojiao suddenly remembered the other person in the room. She quickly pulled Ruan Qun towards Yu Rou and said, "Xiaojiu, this is Rourou, my good friend who came to Beidu specially to visit."
"Hello, welcome to Yuansu." Ruan Qun looked at Yu Rou and nodded with a smile.
The Ruan family boys all resembled their father. Ruan Qun, the youngest son of Ruan Jianmin and Wu Le, was noticeably more delicate than his eight older brothers. At seventeen or eighteen, he was in the bloom of youth like a flower.
At this age, boys, even if not particularly handsome, exude the unique vigor and charm of youth. Much less the Ruan family sons, none of whom were plain looking.
Now, as he stood at the door smiling at Yu Rou, his eyes still showed that indulgent affection for Jiaojiao.
