"I’m going to take a bath," Angel announced the moment they stepped back into the room.
Tryson couldn’t help but smile as he watched her head toward the door.
But just as she was about to take another step, a teasing glint flashed in his eyes. In one swift motion, he grabbed her hand and pulled her close.
Angel gasped, startled as she collided unexpectedly into his arms.
Her breath hitched when Tryson gently tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear, his fingers lingering for a moment.
His gaze locked onto hers, deep and admiring, making her heartbeat quicken in ways she hadn’t anticipated.
"What are you planning to do, Tryson?" Angel asked, her voice edged with curiosity as she caught him staring at her in silence.
A slow, knowing smile spread across Tryson’s lips as he leaned in, his gaze locking onto hers with an intensity that sent a shiver down her spine. Then, a dangerously wicked smirk curled at the corners of his mouth.
"Well, I don’t want you to just walk away. Do you have any idea how much I already miss you?" he teased, watching as Angel bit her lip, her cheeks turning a soft shade of pink.
Flustered, she gently nudged his arm.
"Stop being such a baby. I just want to take a bath," she huffed, forcing a playful smile—yet Tryson only pouted in response.
