Chapter 30: Whose eyes are mesmerizing
"Captain Sinclair! Captain Sinclair!" Ravi called again to the person who was staring at him in a trance.
Arlen slowly shifted his gaze.
"I got it!" Just like three minutes ago, the two voices sounded at the same time, but this time it was filled with rage.
Lisa Johnson and Draco Brown were the closest in age in the Davenport Bureau and yet it did nothing to create any sort of camaraderie between the two of them.
"I said it first!"
"No! I said it first." Draco said, "Captain..."
Lisa raised her right hand and shifted it to the right, Draco's entire body stiffened and he slumped to the ground.
"Alex's sister is suffering from Pulmonary Fibrostenosis Syndrome{PFT}. Yesterday, the head doctor who was visiting from Alstria agreed to do her surgery and she was moved up the list to receive a lung transplant. Her older brother Alex Malley paid the money, 7000 dollars in cash. The patient is undergoing surgery now." Lisa rushed the words out, breathing rapidly.
"Officer Johnson, using your ability on another citizen is a..." Arlen's brows narrowed, "That means that the suspect is not at home, he is in the hospital. Everyone suit up. Officer Adams, please stay behind and tell Emily and Tariq where we are." Arlen said as he helped Draco stand up.
