Chapter 45: Rip the contract
Shentu Jing seemed to contemplate it for a while before he replied. "You asked for it,"
"Including my personal matters? I don’t have to inform you of it by right," she said to him, her eyes peeking at him through her eyelashes.
Suddenly, he pushed her against his desk and glared into her foxy eyes, his expression suddenly turning furious. Her playful demeanor was clearly seducing him yet she seemed innocent of it, as if she didn’t do it on purpose.
Qin Zhuzhu was surprised! She whimpered from the pain. Her face became flushed because their bodies were pressed against each other. Her ears turned a little red.
"From now on, you have to inform me of everything," he said.
"Why? Who are you to have a say in my life?"
She found that she had gotten braver and more daring. Maybe, in life to survive and protect oneself, one has to do things beyond their limits and boundaries. It sounded impossible in the past but she was sure she will overcome those obstacles and live her life the way she wants.
He stiffened. Shentu Jing felt unable to answer her question. It was such a simple question yet it was the hardest. Why? Why does he care so much about her?
"Because I’m fiancé. From now on, you’re under me. You do whatever I say. You have no rights to reject or deny," he answered, holding up a piece of paper that Qin Zhuzhu immediately recognized as the contract she signed when she accepted the job.
