Chapter 129: Escaping from Him
The prince smiled at me before he leaned even closer to me. Our nose touched softly while my body still felt as frozen as before. I could feel his warm breath on my face, and I could smell the faint smell of roses that emanated from his body. My heart raced so fast and hard in my chest that it started to hurt.
Please...don’t come any closer...
“If you really don’t want to do this, you need to push me away...” he whispered softly.
The warmth breath that accompanied his words brushed softly against my lips. Although he wasn’t touching me, it felt like there were countless invisible hands holding my body down and stopping me from moving. His lips moved closer to mine slowly as if everything was happening in slow motion.
He’s going to kiss me.
I have to resist him...and I have to do it right now...
If he kisses me, I don’t think I’ll be able to stop him...or myself...
As if wrestling with an invisible force, I dragged my arms up from my side and pushed as hard as I could against the prince’s chest. The prince’s body moved a little away from me. I had no idea who was more shocked at my sudden action, and I didn’t have time to ponder that thought.
