Chapter 115: His Honorable Maiden
The same butler as before greeted us upon our arrival and it was clear that he had been waiting for the prince’s return. He did not seem surprised to see me with the prince and when he smiled at me, I found myself looking away in embarrassment when I recalled him witnessing the state that I was in the last time I left the prince’s bedroom.
If there was someone who knew without a doubt what had transpired between the prince and me, it would be him. After instructing the butler to prepare clothes and everything that I may need for me, the prince wordlessly led me by the hand deeper into the palace.
“Take a shower and get ready for bed. It’s late, you should get some rest...” Prince Leonard instructed after leading me into a bedroom that I had not been to before.
“Umm...” I murmured in confusion.
I thought that he would take me to his bedroom like before, but it seemed like that wasn’t the case. The bedroom was so luxurious that I couldn’t believe that I would have this bedroom to myself for the night. The king-sized bed with light pink rose-patterned beddings and the white wooden furniture in the room made the room seem suitable for a princess out of a fairytale.
“A maid should be bringing you some clothes and the things that you’ll need soon. You should shower and go to sleep,” the prince repeated.
“What about you?” I asked in a small voice before I could stop myself.
The prince gave me a confused look that made me bite down on my lower lip thinking that it was probably better if I had successfully held my tongue.
“What do you want me to do? Do you want me to stay here with you?” he asked as if he could read my innermost thoughts.
