I Got Reincarnated as a Zombie Girl

Chapter 514 - 511 – BLOOD DANCE UPON THE COSMIC TOMBSTONE: DESTROYING THE MOUNTAIN OF DEATH

Ancient bone dust as thick as a desert sandstorm slowly swept across the land of Primordial Zenith, leaving behind a trail of destruction from Sylvia’s absolute slash. The giant arm, the size of an urban district, lay on the ground, spewing black miasma from its smooth cut like a burst dam.

However, in a world where death is merely an initial phase, a severed body part does not mean the end of the resistance.

GRUUUOOOOAARRRR!

The roar of the Colossus whose arm had just been severed once again shook the entire dimension. The sound wave was so massive that it created ripples of distortion in the vacuum air, forcing Stacia to immediately cast two layers of Acoustic Nullification Barrier so their eardrums wouldn’t shatter to pieces.

"Don’t relax just yet, Sylvia!" Stacia screamed, her eyes widening as she stared at her mana analysis screen blinking bright red. "That arm you cut off... it’s reacting to the environment!"

Sylvia, who had just landed gracefully, twisted her body. Her glowing red eyes narrowed, piercing through the gray fog.

From inside the marrow of the severed giant bone, the black miasma didn’t just evaporate; it thickened and formed giant slime cocoons. Within seconds, the cocoons burst open, birthing thousands of creatures that looked like a hybrid of giant centipedes and human skeletons. These creatures were over ten meters long, with bone pincers clacking bloodthirstily. They were Grave Crawlers, high-level parasites that lived off the remnant mana of the Titans.

A red notification screen blinked in Sylvia’s peripheral vision.

[Sub-Species Warning Detected!]

[Species: Primordial Grave Crawler (Lv. 310 - 330)]

[Amount: 4,500+ and counting.]

"Tch, so cutting off one body part is the same as opening a pandora’s box full of disgusting bugs?" Sylvia clicked her tongue, yet her psychopathic smile only grew wider. She licked her lower lip, feeling the adrenaline pumping her heart until it beat like a war drum. "Good. I happen to need a warm-up before destroying its main body."

"I will handle those parasites!" Alicia exclaimed. The magic staff in her hand was twirled elegantly, emitting a blinding golden glow. She hovered a few meters above the ground, letting her white robe flutter against the gravity storm.

"Domain: Purgatory of the White Lotus!"

From beneath Alicia’s feet, a golden glowing magic circle expanded at lightning speed, covering a radius of five square kilometers. Wherever the light touched the ground, giant light lotuses bloomed instantly. The miasma chains and Grave Crawler parasites attempting to cross the area were immediately burned to ashes, shrieking in high-pitched voices as Alicia’s holy authority eroded their dark existences.

"Focus your attacks on that Titan, Sylvia! Leave the matter of this bug swarm to Stacia and me!" Alicia ordered, her eyes shining with the undeniable authority of an Angel Queen. She swung her hand, summoning a rain of light swords from the sky to bombard the incoming swarm of parasites.

"Understood, Princess!" Sylvia laughed wildly.

She cracked her neck until a soft ’pop’ was heard, then lowered her posture like an apex predator ready to pounce. The black claws on both her hands elongated, flowing with pure mana that radiated an Abyssal aura. At the same time, dozens of Chains of Abyss shot out from her back, anchoring to the ground, bone pillars, and even to the body of the Colossus towering before her.

BOOOM!

The earth cracked as Sylvia dashed. Her speed broke through multiple sound barriers, creating a series of white ring-shaped sonic booms in the air.

The Colossus, an embodiment of stone-fleshed bone mountains, did not stay idle. Even though it lost one arm, it still had the other. The Titan raised its intact left hand, gathering a swirling vortex of dense purple destructive energy in its palm. It was ancient magic, a gravity and decay-based attack capable of wiping a city off the map in a single breath.

"It’s going to shoot! Dodge, Sylvia!" Stacia screamed through their telepathic link. Stacia’s hands moved at lightning speed compiling formulas in the air, projecting the enemy’s attack trajectory into Sylvia’s retinas. "Impact predicted in 1.2 seconds! Blast radius: Thirty kilometers!"

"Dodge? Who wants to dodge?!" Sylvia retorted with a ferocious grin.

Instead of changing her trajectory, Sylvia pulled the Chains of Abyss anchored to the Titan’s chest, launching herself straight toward the destructive energy vortex.

As the giant energy ball was fired like a cosmic laser cannon, Sylvia crossed her claws in front of her body.

"Abyssal Skill: Devouring Void!"

A small black hole vortex, possessing infinite mass density, materialized at the tips of Sylvia’s claws. When the giant purple energy laser struck it, a conceptual collision shook reality. Instead of being blown away, the black hole in Sylvia’s hands began to suck in, chew, and split the energy laser into two halves that missed to her left and right, leveling the distant mountain range of bones to the ground.

Below, Stacia stared at her computational data with wide eyes. "She... she used the density of her miasma to cut through a projectile-based energy?! What kind of physics logic is that?!"

"That’s Sylvia logic," Alicia replied casually while firing a light spear at a Grave Crawler attempting to sneak up from behind. "Don’t think about it. Just focus on finding the giant’s weak point. We can’t kill it just by scratching its outer skin."

Stacia snorted, refocusing on the thirteen holographic screens in front of her. "I’m trying! This Titan’s body is coated in an Aura of the Ancients, a passive shield that distorts mana scanning. But wait... if its arm is cut off, the circulation of its mana circuits must be disrupted!"

Stacia’s fingers danced in the air, concentrating the scanning waves toward the giant’s severed shoulder, analyzing the leaking energy flow. A glowing red dot appeared deep within the Titan’s chest cavity, protected by a ribcage as thick as fortress walls.

"Found it!" Stacia exclaimed. "The weak point isn’t in the head! Titans store their soul cores in the Solar Plexus, right behind the main breastbone! There’s a crystal the size of a castle in there. Destroy that, and its body structure will collapse!"

"Copy that!" Sylvia’s voice echoed from high above.

Sylvia was now in mid-air, right in front of the eyeless giant’s face. The Titan opened its massive jaws, intending to bite the annoying mosquito in front of it, a bite large enough to swallow a fleet of giant battleships.

But Sylvia was faster. She fired six Chains of Abyss straight into the Titan’s mouth, hooking them to the roof of the jaw and the base of the throat. With one forceful pull backed by millions of Strength stat points, Sylvia held the Titan’s jaw open, creating a physical stalemate between the petite goddess of death and the ancient giant.

The muscles on Sylvia’s petite arms bulged, her veins pulsating and emitting a purple light. The Titan struggled, trying to use its hand to grab Sylvia, but the massive body moved too slowly in the eyes of the close-combat fighter.

"Alicia! Stacia! Make a path for me!" Sylvia yelled, holding back a jaw pressure that could crush diamonds.

"Initiating Armor Break sequence!" Stacia responded. She combined her ten mana screens into a highly complex targeting magic circle. "Stellar Equation: Absolute Mass Amplification!"

Stacia fired a purple magic beam straight at the Titan’s breastbone. The magic didn’t produce an explosion, but rather multiplied the mass and weight of the sternum bone itself by thousands of times in a split second. The giant groaned in pain as its own breastbone cracked inward, unable to support its own weight.

Seeing the crack, Alicia immediately took over. She raised her staff high toward the gloomy sky, sacrificing a quarter of her total mana in a single breath.

"Divine Punishment: Spear of Longinus!"

The gray dust clouds above them parted. A massive light spear larger than the highest mountain on earth descended, piercing through the graveyard’s atmosphere at meteor speed. The holy spear struck right at the area of the Titan’s breastbone cracked by Stacia’s magic.

CRAAAASSSSH!

An explosion of holy light and ancient miasma clashed, erupting in a blinding spectrum of colors. The heat generated was enough to melt the bone footing around them. The ribcage, as thick as fortress walls, was finally blown wide open, exposing the dark chest cavity, and in the center, beating rhythmically, was a giant yellow crystal filled with carvings of screaming souls. That was the Titan’s Core.

"Now, Sylvia!" Alicia and Stacia screamed in unison.

"Time for dinner!"

Sylvia released her chain hooks from the enemy’s jaw. Using the repulsive force of empty air by condensing her mana, she shot forward like a black spear, piercing through the remnants of Alicia’s light explosion. She entered the foul-smelling giant chest cavity, tearing through layer after layer of dead flesh and fossilized neural tissue.

The giant panicked. Its core was threatened. It tried to strike its own chest to destroy Sylvia along with its core, uncaring of the injuries it would suffer.

But Sylvia had already arrived before the giant yellow crystal. The Titan’s heart beats with enough magical energy to bring a planet to life. Its size was akin to a grand cathedral.

Sylvia took a deep breath, focusing all her Energy, rage, and killing intent into the tips of the claws on her right hand. A darkness darker than a starless night gathered, tearing reality around her claws.

"Eclipse Rend!"

With a straight thrust devoid of the slightest hesitation, Sylvia’s arm pierced right into the giant crystal that was as hard as adamantium. Microscopic cracks began to spread from the point of her claws’ penetration, before finally expanding at an exponential rate.

The energy inside the crystal rebelled, attempting to burn Sylvia’s arm, but Stacia’s Pain Nullification made Sylvia merely grin, continuously pushing her hand until it reached the center of the core. Then, she clenched her fist.

KRAAAAAK! BOOOOOOOOM!

The soul core crystal exploded from within. A golden-yellow shockwave mixed with Abyssal black erupted in all directions, shattering the Titan’s back and spewing out through the cloudy sky.

The massive body of the Colossus froze. The yellow light in its eyes dimmed, then extinguished completely. For a few seconds, time seemed to stop in Primordial Zenith, before the extreme gravity in the place finally took over again.

The hundreds-of-meters-tall body collapsed like a kicked house of cards. It fell forward, slamming into the bone continent landmass with a thud that triggered a magnitude nine earthquake, sending up a dust storm that swallowed the entire battle radius. The remaining parasite cocoons instantly withered and crumbled to ashes as soon as their main host’s body perished.

Amidst the slowly shrinking dust storm, Sylvia’s petite figure walked out from behind the ruins of the Titan’s skull. Her robe was stained with crystal dust and thick miasma, the tips of her claws still emitting black smoke. She flicked her hand, dismissing the demonic claws, then stared at the notification screen that had just appeared before her eyes with ragged breathing.

[SYSTEM: Historic Victory!]

[You have defeated ’Primordial Colossus of the Ruined Eon’ (Level 385).]

[Calculating Experience Points with Cosmic Gravity area restrictions...]

[Received 45,000,000 EXP.]

[Level Up! You have reached Level 253.]

[Evolution Requirement (Level 400): 147 Levels Remaining.]

Sylvia blinked. She stared at the number ’Level 253’ with a blank expression. Her muscles screamed in exhaustion, her mana was drained by nearly half, and she had almost been swallowed by a gravity magic capable of destroying a continent. Such a massive effort, Alicia’s insane mana sacrifice, Stacia’s desperate brain calculations... just to go up one level?

Stacia and Alicia ran toward her, both breathing just as heavily.

"We... we managed to kill it," Stacia said while wiping the cold sweat from her forehead. "That was the best tactical calculation I’ve ever made."

"How many levels did you go up, Sylvia?" Alicia asked, leaning on her magic staff. "A monster that size with environmental pressure like this must give massive Experience, right? We might only need to kill ten or twenty more to reach level 400."

Sylvia slowly turned her head toward her sisters. Her expression suddenly turned extremely dark, a killing aura even denser than before emanating from her body. Her psychopathic smile returned, but this time the smile was filled with a twisted sense of despair.

"One," Sylvia answered with a trembling voice. "I only leveled up once."

A chilling silence immediately enveloped the three sisters. Stacia dropped her illusory parchment. Alicia widened her eyes, losing her usual composure.

"O-one level?" Stacia mumbled, her voice cracking. She looked toward the border of the gray fog. "You’re joking... with an EXP distribution this cruel..."

As if responding to their despair, from behind the thick fog in the distance, the silhouettes of other giants began to become clearly visible. It wasn’t just one or two. There were dozens of Colossi now awake, provoked by the massive mana explosion from their comrade’s death. Yellow, red, and blue eyes emerged, illuminating the horizon like a row of death lanterns. The sound of giant footsteps began to rumble, making the ground they stood on vibrate endlessly.

This was not just a battle. This was a punishment. This was the true hell promised by Mother Persephone, designed to shatter their sanity and squeeze every drop of potential from their souls, or leave them buried as part of this graveyard forever.

Sylvia closed her eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath, letting the scent of death and despair seep into her lungs. When she opened her eyes again, the fear was gone, replaced by a blazing determination for endless slaughter.

"One level, huh?" Sylvia spread her arms, recalling her Rapier of Night and dozens of Chains of Abyss. She stared at the giant army in the distance with a loud, maddened laugh. "Alright! If Mother Persephone wants us to empty out this entire damn graveyard dimension, THEN WE WILL EMPTY IT UNTIL NOTHING REMAINS!"
