I Got Reincarnated as a Zombie Girl

Chapter 53 – An Awkward Morning and the Weapons of Tomorrow

Morning light filtered through the thin curtains, casting a golden hue onto the cracked, worn-out walls that somehow still felt warm. Faint birdsong drifted from a distance, yet inside the room, a heavy silence lingered—almost suffocating.

THUD!!

Sylvia fell from her void step, crashing into something soft and warm. More precisely—someone.

A small body let out a soft yelp, pinned beneath the weight of a zombie that, while technically dead... still had a very real, tangible mass. Sylvia blinked. Below her, a half-awake Sofia stared up with wide eyes. Her Golden hair was tousled, and she wore only a loose shirt—clearly not meant for receiving guests.

Worse yet, the morning light cut straight through the thin fabric, creating a silhouette that... was hard to ignore.

Sofia’s face turned beet red.

"Ah... ah—" she stammered, unable to form words. Her heart raced, torn between anger, embarrassment, and something else entirely.

Meanwhile, Sylvia’s face remained as expressionless as always, but her mind was a chaotic storm. She might not be alive anymore, her heart no longer beating—but the memories of being a man in a previous life still clung stubbornly to her soul.

Damn. This... is not something I should be seeing... she thought, quickly getting off Sofia’s body.

Sofia covered her chest with trembling hands and pointed towards the bed while averting her gaze. "Just... sit there, okay..."

Sylvia obeyed silently, sitting at the edge of the bed, unsure what to say—not that she could speak in the first place.
