Jeremy Night started walking towards the abandoned factory. He didn't know why, but he started using the starlight thread to cover his index finger.

He then saw the middle-aged man who was waiting behind the door. He was not coming out. Instead, he was expecting the person to walk in.

Jeremy shook his head. The man's movements were completely exposed under his eyes. He approached the iron gate.

Seeing that it was open, he smiled. He could guess what the middle-aged man was going to do next.

He was probably going to perform a sneak attack. He was still using his x-ray vision.

Creak!

He then opened the door and walked in.

Boom!

Roland Hill twisted his fist and punched towards the young man. Once the punch landed on the young man, he would be severely injured.

Jeremy Night's eyes caught the details when the punch was about to land on him. He shifted his weight and moved his body.

The punch struck the empty air.

Cut!

At the same time, Jeremy moved his right hand. Specifically, he made a slash using his index finger.

The starlight thread extended. It cut through the facial skin of Roland Hill. This happened within seconds.

But he was hurt instead. He touched his face. He then looked at his fingers and saw the blood on them.

A hint of anger appeared in his eyes. He then charged at the young man to attack again.

On the other hand, Jeremy Night's heart was racing. Yet he knew it was the only chance to defeat a Tier-6 Beast Tamer.

He didn't know what the Beast Taming Talent of this person was.

Smash!

Roland was careful this time. He got a bit closer before releasing a punch. The punch carried full force.

Jeremy felt a sense of crisis. Yet his eyes never left the punch.

"Explosive Steps"

Right then, he used the movement technique.

Explosive force generated at his feet. Using the force, he retreated backwards.

The punch once again missed the target. It hit empty air.

The next second, a deafening noise sounded.

Roland was stunned again. He didn't stop and continued to charge at the young man. He wouldn't leave the place until the young man was dead.

Jeremy Night evaded the attacks one after another. Roland Hill missed the target at the last minute.

He couldn't believe what was going on. He knew about his own strength. It was three levels higher than the young man's.

The young man should have been hit by his punches by now. Yet the young man was able to react and respond at the last moment.

He wondered whether he was half-hearted. But that wasn't the truth. This kid had talent.

On the other hand, Jeremy Night didn't use his starlight thread. He was waiting for one perfect opportunity.

And that opportunity arrived. Roland Hill used his talent. His arms and legs were covered in spikes.

A single hit from a spike would tear open the body. Jeremy's expression turned serious. He used his x-ray vision.

He saw that the ability had covered most of the vital parts, leaving only the neck area exposed.

Roland got closer to him. Jeremy was doing this on purpose. He wanted to close the gap. The spikes were about to drill into his body.

Jeremy moved again. He used his body weight to evade the attack. But he found out that it was not enough.

Roland smiled and was able to react faster. He moved his body. The next second, the spikes tore through the clothes and skin.

Puchak!

A red line appeared on Jeremy Night's chest. Blood spurted on the ground from the wounds.

Jeremy felt searing pain in his body.

Aaaahhh!

A muffled grunt left his mouth. He then used the Explosive Steps to retreat. He widened the gap in the blink of an eye.

Jeremy Night realized his mistake. The enemy's ability had not only made the transformation occur but enhanced his strength as well.

He didn't expect to make such a foolish mistake.

Jeremy unsheathed his katana blade. He held the blade tightly in his hand. Then he started to cover the blade edge with starlight thread.

In the blink of an eye, the blade edge shone with a bright light.

Roland Hill saw the scene as well. He smirked.

He didn't know what the glowing white thing was. But he was sure that it wouldn't be able to do anything to his spikes.

They were an ability of Tier-6 Level.

The next second, he moved from the spot. He darted out towards the young man again. The young man's chest was bleeding.

A few more attacks and the young man would bleed to death.

He got closer in the blink of an eye.

"Blade One"

On the other hand, Jeremy was prepared. He used x-ray vision to find a weakness. Then he executed the Blade technique.

The blade moved in a wide arc. It came into contact with the spikes. It cuts through the spikes as easily as butter.

The mysterious blade power, together with the starlight power, was not easy to stop.

Under the shocking gaze of Roland Hill, the blade cut through the side of his body. His Tier-6 body strength defense broke.

A torrent of blood gushed forth from the wound. The blood vessels were cut down precisely, so more blood emerged from the wound.

Roland Hill was shocked. He felt terrible pain in his body. Before his mind could process what happened.

He was met with another attack. Jeremy brought down the blade at him. The blade landed vertically on the shoulder.

The starlight thread felt no resistance. The blade almost went halfway through. Blood emerged forth from the wound.

This all happened within seconds. Roland Hill was frozen. He was shocked. He didn't know what happened except for the terrible pain assaulting his body.
