Olphi brought us breakfast while I got ready. My flight was for noon, so Caysir had enough time to get his stuff. He was only to accompany me on the flight, ensuring I reached my family safely. And I agreed with Karsten that with Caysir travelling with me, I would feel safe.
As usual, he had brought a lot for breakfast. I was in the mood for something quick, so I chose a cheese sandwich.
I gobbled down on it with creamy cappuccino, while Karsten sipped on his bitter coffee and had a gluten-free, sugar-free scone.
The man was going to lead himself to the early doors of lung cancer with his smoking, but sugar was where he drew the line.
Seeing him eat that scone was a pain. I could never.
Getting up, I sauntered to my kitchen and dug out the jar of cookies Grandma had sent for me. These cookies were to die for, and no one could resist them, not even my boss, who loved eating tasteless food.
With a naughty grin, I scrambled back to where he was sitting.
Opening the jar, I let the aroma of the cookies waft in the air and then extended it towards him. "Here, try this."
Karsten had occupied my lounger like royalty, occupying it with class.
He first gave me a scandalous look, and then his gaze wistfully dipped towards the large cookies, and I could see him resisting the temptation to grab the whole jar from me.
