Chapter 341: My Wife is So Sassy
After dinner, Lariette and Ruediger proceeded to their next routine of washing the dishes and cleaning the dining table. The mango panna cotta was still in the fridge, waiting to be savored afterward.
"Eddy, you also want one?" Lariette asked while opening the fridge door, glancing at Ruediger who was wiping his hands dry.
"Sure," Ruediger smiled, "Just one."
Taking two small glasses of panna cotta, Lariette brought them to the living room. She couldn’t wait to have another one of Ruediger’s tasty cold desserts.
The bright orange color of the mango puree had been tempting her. With just one look, she knew it was delicious.
The couch welcomed them in its usual way, comfy, quiet and warm. Lariette curled up beside Ruediger, legs tucked beneath her. She passed one glass to him before leaning over his shoulder.
For a while, there was only the comfort of silence and a gentle breeze brushing against the windows. The city was still very much alive at eight in the evening.
Halfway through her glass of panna cotta, Lariette shifted slightly, looking up at Ruediger, "Eddy... there’s something I should tell you."
The caution in Lariette’s tone was enough to alert Ruediger. He immediately glanced down at her, "What is it?"
Hesitating, Lariette put the glass down on the coffee table. Then, she turned to properly face Ruediger whose brows slightly furrowing.
"That man... Vincent came to see me at school today."
