Common Sense Hijack System

Chapter 93

David stared at the soldiers in front of him, his face calm and even carrying a hint of a mocking smile. With a swift motion, his hand shot up, and in an instant, the cosmic energy around him surged like a wave. A sharp blue light shot from his palm, spreading across the room like an invisible magnetic field.

The soldiers were caught off guard, but before they could react, the energy took control of their bodies. They fell one by one, losing consciousness in the blink of an eye. Some tried to scream, but their voices were cut off as their bodies crumpled, lying helplessly on the floor.

Karl stood beside his father, eyes wide as he watched the scene unfold. The entire room was now filled with silence, broken only by the gentle breeze stirred by the power David had just unleashed.

"Dad... what did you just do?" Karl finally found his voice, his tone shaking.

David let out a sigh and looked at Karl, eyes still sparkling with energy. "This power is part of me, Karl. And now, we need to move before they wake up."

Karl looked at his father, confusion and awe mixing in his expression. "But... they can’t just be..."

David raised an eyebrow, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "They have no idea who they’re dealing with, Karl. And now, I’m making sure we don’t stop until we find your mom and sister."

With a wave of his hand, David directed the energy to unlock the large door at the end of the room. He cast a quick glance at the bodies lying on the floor, then turned to Karl. "Let’s go. It’s time to find our family."

Karl nodded, gathering his courage. Though confusion still clouded his mind, he knew one thing: he had never fully known his father.

David signaled Vincent, now in his orb form, to point them toward Lucy and Ella (Karl’s sister).

David looked at Vincent with a meaningful stare. "Vincent, guide us to the room where Lucy and Ella are," he said firmly.
