Chapter 61 - 60: Elsa meets Hestia, Yoriichi I treated you as a brother!!!
The temperature in the room plummeted. Ice crackled softly as a thin layer of frost spread across the wooden floor. The air itself grew heavier as if the very atmosphere hesitated to move.
Lioro, still holding the sobbing Hestia, felt a chill run down his spine.
What the hell?
Where was his magic resistance?
He had turned off infinity, so that didn't help either.
Elsa's expression remained eerily calm, her blue eyes fixed solely on the goddess clinging to Lioro's neck. Yet, despite her serene face, the soft crackling of forming ice betrayed her true emotions. Snowflakes swirled lazily around her, glistening under the dim light of the room.
Bell instinctively took a step back, his survival instincts screaming at him to avoid whatever was about to happen.
Yoriichi, on the other hand, silently observed the scene, his golden-red eyes taking in the moment as if watching a harmless quarrel between children.
Lioro felt he had to act fast before things got... difficult.
"Goddess," he said, his voice as steady as ever, despite the ice creeping dangerously close to his boots. "I think you should let go now."
Hestia sniffled, rubbing her eyes against his shoulder. "B-But Lioro! I thought you left forever! I was so worried! You didn't even tell me anything before you disappeared!"
