Some were luxurious private transports, shimmering with gold and obsidian plating, meant for the wealthy and influential.
Others were sleek, military-grade vessels, reinforced with dimensional shielding and flanked by combat-ready Awakened escorts.
But the one Creed was aiming for was somewhere in the middle—a commercial but well-protected transport, efficient yet not too flashy.
Beside him, Lilith practically bounced on her feet, her excitement radiating off her like a hyperactive sun.
Her violet eyes sparkled, and her bat-like wings twitched as she yapped away at a mile per second.
"This is going to be amazing, Master! I’ve always wanted to see more of this world! I mean, yeah, I technically haven’t seen much at all, but you get what I mean! Oh!
"What do you think the Azure Sky Bastion looks like? Do you think they have really fancy sky? Do you think we can get a penthouse suite? No, wait! We should totally go sky seeing! Ooooh, or fight some giant blue birds! Can we? Huh? Huh?!"
Creed chuckled, shaking his head at her endless enthusiasm. He had to admit, it was refreshing.
After everything that had happened, he had been so focused on survival, on the next step, the next fight, the next goal, that he hadn’t even stopped to enjoy this world.
