Chapter 80: Earth golems
"What’s that?" Alex’s voice rang out as he pointed at the top of the huge rock.
Everyone immediately stopped and looked at where Alex was pointing with vigilant expressions.
The top of the fence-like rock was rigid and uneven; at a glance, it looked nothing out of the ordinary and seemed just like a normal rock.
However, upon closer inspection, the others noticed a few oddly shaped parts of the rocks that were not connected properly and instead hung on the side.
"Earth golems. Everyone, prepare to fight!" Mia’s voice sounded at this moment after sensing the rocks.
The others immediately reacted and stars of various colours appeared in the air.
"Alex, stand next to me." Mia beckoned, Alex obediently walked over and stood next to her.
As if noticing that they had been discovered, rumbling noises that sounded like rolling boulders rang out around them. The next moment, several rocks at the top of the huge boulder began to shift; quickly rising into golems that were two to three meters tall and were roughly shaped, two hollow holes that seemed to be their eyes gazed at the group on the ground.
In total, five earth golems had appeared. Because of their ability to blend into their surroundings, even Mia did not notice them as quickly as Alex.
Bam!
The five earth golems jumped down from the top of the boulder and landed in front of the group, they were like giants with rock skins and hollow eyes.
