Moreover, Arabella heard from Ferdinand’s thoughts that he was going to ask her if they could do naughty things for a bit. She thought he forgot about it when they spoke about other things. But it seems he did not. His eyes would be begging her, and she wasn’t sure she could still say no.
If she met his gaze now, she might just say, "Yes, please" instead. Thus, she avoided looking into his eyes.
"Arabella, I can smell the scent of your arousal. And it just got stronger," Ferdinand whispered in her ear. His voice was sexily husky and hot, and his lips grazed her lobe. Her body involuntarily shivered. And her husband loved it.
’Right. Of course, he could pick the scent easily too.’ There was no use trying to hide something like this from him. And he already knew upon seeing her tightly shut legs earlier anyway.
But somehow, letting him discover just how drenched she was, hit her pride so, she didn’t want to show him. Letting him touch her there, would soak his hand too, and it was embarrassing after she told him not to do this here.
