Chapter 215: I Realized How Selfish I Had Been
Who would have thought hearing those words directly from his lips felt so nice?
She knew from the revelation in her dream that he loved her. And in this life, she first learned from Alwin and Raymond, that Ferdinand loved and cherished her.
Ferdinand and his thoughts and actions soon confirmed it. He did admit he liked her very much too. But didn’t directly say he loved her.
There was a difference between just liking someone compared to loving someone.
Arabella would have been fine with any of the two. But Ferdinand felt both of the two for her.
And he said it to her so directly today.
That he loved her.
Arabella felt heat rise to her face as his words repeated themselves over and over again inside her head.
It was embarrassing but Arabella did feel so delighted at hearing Ferdinand say those words to her.
She wanted to be able to respond to his feelings. But she wasn’t sure what she was feeling yet.
She knew she was beginning to like him, but she doesn’t know if she loves him already or not yet. She didn’t want to raise his hopes up only to not be able to be true to her words.
