The next he was out of the throne room, the paper works could bloody go to hell! He has to see his wife and be by her. He couldn’t help the joy that rubble within him and the fear too, fear because he knew his aura within her would go berserk, but she needn’t worry, he was here and she had nothing to worry about.
"Emperor," Mint said with a bow as he gave way and the door spread open. Hoping to set his eyes on his radiating mate and her bump, he meets with an empty room.
"WHERE IS THE EMPRESS?!"
Mint rushed in next at the sound of the Emperor’s clamorous voice, he froze when he saw an empty room, with wide eyes, this cannot be! "The Empress..."
"It seems you do not know your duty, Mint!" Nicklaus growled as his eyes turned black, with veins within them and his fangs dropped, his look murderous.
Mint fell to his knees. "Emperor I’m certain no one left the room, Lord Alaric was here, and then Mathilda and Olivia came, Olivia went to inform you about her due date and next Lady Celeste walked in leaving just Mathilda, the Empress, and her"
"Then where are they!"
"No one left the room, I’m certain"
"Does it look like anyone’s here?!"
Olivia rushed in and gasped seeing the situation, she quickly went on her knees too. "E-Emperor"
"Where is my Empress?!" at the sound of his clamorous voice, the room was impaled by sharp ice spikes, growing out of edges and walls and breaking things. Nicklaus saw red, he couldn’t think, he couldn’t contain his anger, where was she? Where was his mate?! Worry, confusion, and anger fought within him and the great Nicklaus was losing control.
