Chapter 215: Due Date
Olivia and Mathilda were before us and suddenly it was like the spell broke.
"N-No not at all"
"I should go," Alaric said, up on his feet but we weren’t really doing anything, right?
"I should leave you ladies" he cleared his throat before leaving, I wanted to tell him to stay and there was nothing to worry about but the words didn’t come off, true fact I didn’t want him to leave, there was this part of me that wanted him by my side, to stay, it was an ardent feeling.
"I’m here to check you, Empress" Mathilda said with a smile on her lips and I returned it. These past few days she has been very helpful to me, continuously checking up on me, and making sure my baby was growing fine. If it wasn’t for her I wasn’t sure I could have gotten to this point.
"Of course" I settled back down, feeling heavier than ever.
"You have gotten so big, Empress," Olivia said stunned, her wide eyes on my round bump.
"Of course she is, I feel she’s very close," Mathilda said, resting her hand on my bump, giving me a check-up and she gasped.
"What? What is it?" I asked slightly, panicking.
"You’re due for this night, Empress"
My eyes widened. "What? So fast?!"
