Chapter 216: Black Consciousness
Liam O’Brien body stiffened at the little voice. When was the last time he had heard a voice? He couldn’t remember so the situation only stunned him more.
We’re his ears playing tricks on him?
He would have thought so but the feeling of a presence behind him was unmistakable.
Slowly he turned, his eyes averting to the girl that called him dad, he turned fully to the strange presence, his chocolate brown eyes lands on hers, same as his, the curiosity and confusion overwhelmed him.
She looked familiar.
"Jenna?" He said faintly with puzzled eyes, why was Jenna here? After all these years.
He tilted his head to the side observing her fully, she looked just like Jenna, must be her but there was this different nature to her that got him curious, maybe it was Omari in disguise or worse.
His expression changed in less than a second. It could be Omari, trying to play some mindful games with him, it was in his nature so it could be.
"Who are you?" He asked in a slow deadly tone ready to unleash wrath, how dare him use his sisters face? He needed to knock some sense into him and show him that beast can’t mess with him and go scot-free.
But the response Liam got in return wasn’t what he expected... because she dashed towards him and embraced him in a tight hug, catching him completely off guard as she locked her arms around his waist not wanting to let go.
This feeling... he couldn’t explain it, it gripped him so hard he almost staggered.
