"But she’s earned something much more valuable," said the costume designer, her voice firm.

The cameraman nodded.
"And for the record, Vivian, fake or not, Holea’s bracelet has more class than your attitude right now."
Laughter rippled through the group, leaving Vivian visibly flustered.
Her assistant tugged at her arm, whispering for her to let it go, but Vivian wasn’t ready to back down.
