Yu Holea raised an amused eyebrow, her hands crossing over her chest as she took in the elaborate display in front of her.
The teddy bear, roses, chocolates, and the groveling doll-like figure were undoubtedly Qiao Jun’s handiwork.
She stepped out of her room, leaning against the doorframe, her tone dripping with mock exasperation.
"Qiao Jun, are you seriously doing this? A male doll? Really?"
From behind the corner, Qiao Jun stepped into view, his usual smirk plastered across his face.
He was dressed casually but impeccably, his hands in his pockets. "What can I say? I’m a man of creativity and grand gestures," he said with a playful shrug.
Yu Holea rolled her eyes but couldn’t hide the faint smile tugging at her lips.
"And what exactly are you apologizing for this time?"
"For anything and everything I might have done to upset my wifey," Qiao Jun replied smoothly, stepping closer.
"And also to remind you how amazing I am. You need someone like me in your life."
Yu Holea snorted. "Amazing? You mean annoying. What do you want, Qiao Jun? I have a wrap party to attend."
