Her words were the only thing I kept hearing, no matter how I tried to block them, they kept creeping back into my head and destroying every other source of thoughts that may come. I admit Emmaline might not be who I thought she was, she might not be as harmless as I think, and not just a mystery I want to uncover, she holds the same storm as Luther and if I am correct she might very well be my downfall.
I’m beginning to merge the thoughts and points and all the scenarios I have encountered so far, how conveniently I was able to kidnap her, and I have been walking towards my doom. I leaned against my leather chair spinning the ring between my fingers effortlessly, my mind hanging over possible scenarios I could uncover.
I don’t have the memories of that night of my metamorphosis but now I know Emmaline Zalatoris might have something to do with it and if she does this changes everything, my plan to take down the vampires and what I will do with her. Everything will fall into place if I play my cards right. This might be bigger than I thought but I will handle it every way I can.
Even in the means of this I still think of that day, HER in her black summer dress with one of my expensive bottles in her hand, spinning and giggling to herself, before crying like the whole world has crashed in her hands. Her tears, her words... like a broken girl. I want to know everything down to that very skin of hers. Because she might be my very nemesis.
I shoved the ring into my pocket, grabbing my dark brown leather jacket as I stepped out of my office. Going down the stairs and making several turns in the lobbies, I finally came to a stop right in front of a familiar door.
I gave a simple knock and just as I expected there was no answer, I don’t have the fucking time to wait so I grabbed the knob knowing it was locked, I gave a harsh pull and it broke.
I stepped into the room.
